Short Bioof Jerry Blumengarten
I taught for 32 years in
the New York City school system. Even though I was a
licensed Social Studies teacher I taught most subjects (Language
Arts, Science, Math, Computers...)for
grades 6-9. I wrote curriculum for my school district, the NYC Board of Education
and Open Doors
a school-business partnership. I was also a lead teacher and

served as school's teacher-librarian. I was elected and
served two terms on town's library board of trustees.
